OUR DJ's DRESS STANDARDS
At Poole’s of Music presentation is as important to us as it is to you.
Our DJ’s dress appropriately for the function. A suit for the more formal occasions - a long sleeved business shirt and tie - or smart casual gear for the younger trendy parties.
All are either very experienced DJ’s from other cities or trained up to our exacting DJ code of conduct.
Poole’s of Music have vast experience with formal Corporate dinners.
Dinner music is played at a volume to enable you to converse with your colleagues with ease then your choice of dance music will be played in accordance with the age/taste of your associates.

KaraokeDo-It-Yourself Karaoke Machines
These Do it yourself karaoke machines have a huge selection in excess of 1200 popular songs (presented in alphabetical selection books), 2 microphones, a TV monitor to read/sing the changing coloured words of your chosen song. Your own CD collection can be played for those times when you are eating or just want to dance.
These units are fully set-up (you are shown how to operate it) then picked up after your function.
The Ultimate - Karaoke and Disco
This is a combination of CD entertainment and Karaoke - set up on one of our stylish mirrored desks with 1 monitor TV, 2 microphones, nightclub style lighting, and presented in easy to find alphabetical selection books there are over 2,500 titles to choose from including much loved classics through to the Top 40.
Our DJ/Karaoke operator will play dinner music for you, see you through any formalities and then when its party time - will play a mixture of good dance music and karaoke for you to sing and dance the night away.
Poole’s of Music take care of the majority of school discos in Townsville and the colleges in Charters Towers therefore we have extensive knowledge of music suitable for young people of all ages.
We are experienced with Christenings, 1st birthday parties, pre-teen and teen birthday parties and especially the all important 18th and 21st Birthdays!
Our experience also covers - renewal of vows, anniversaries right up to 50th - Regimental balls and dinners, hand-over and conference dinner-dances, re-unions, product launches, Christmas and New Year parties etc., etc. so your "Big-O" birthdays right through to 70th’s - present absolutely no problem to our wide range of DJs of all ages.
Poole’s of Music have an extremely wide range of experience with all types of occasions requiring music and are experienced with Christenings, 1st birthday parties, pre-school and kindy "mini" discos, we take care of the majority of school discos in Townsville and the colleges in Charters Towers, school fetes, formals and graduations, pre-teen and teen birthday parties, "Big-O" birthdays through to 70th’s, engagements and weddings, renewal of vows, anniversaries right up to 50th - Regimental balls and dinners, hand-over and conference dinner-dances, re-unions, fundraisers, junior and senior sports presentation evenings, club socials, ladies nights, themed functions, fashion parades, product launches, Christmas and New Year parties etc., etc.

Your DJ will be assigned to you based on your taste of music, age group and type of function - you won’t get a "Techno Head" unless you want one!
Our units are set-up by a "set-up" team - The DJ arrives fresh and ready to "party" - not hot, tired and grumpy from a hurried move in of his gear.
Because Poole’s of Music is a full time professional business you can be confident that if you book your function for 2 years time we will still be around to provide the music for that function and not have lost interest in what used to be a backyard hobby.
You are the most important person to Poole’s of Music -
If you go away happy from your function you will tell all your friends and relations therefore ensuring a continuation of the most important form of advertising for us - "Word of Mouth".
